Trail SystemThe interconnected trail system winding through the city's open space is a special point of pride. Westminster features more than 63 miles of off-road trails, making it a leader in offering easy access to some of the richest recreational opportunities in the Denver metro area. The trail system features more than 40 pedestrian/bike underpasses, allowing trail users to safely pass under busy streets and enhancing the overall experience.
Trail summaries
A complete list of all the trails and the major trail corridors, including summaries of terrain, points of interest and connections to other trails, is on the right. You will also find mileage charts for the four major trail corridors that run through the city.
Westminster Trail Guide
The City of Westminster has created a map (updated in 2009) showing the 84 miles of off-road trails that run through the city. Limited copies of the map are still available at city recreation facilities, libraries and community centers, as well as at the Parks, Recreation and Libraries offices on the lower level of Westminster City Hall.
The trail map is also available for download as a PDF. Side 1 contains the trail map itself, while Side 2 has descriptions of the major trail corridors: Big Dry Creek, Farmers' High Line Canal, Walnut Creek and Little Dry Creek.

Trails Master Plan
The City of Westminster Trails Master Plan is a working document designed to show existing and future development of trails, trail heads and other elements of the citywide trail system. This version was created in 2001 and is a planning guide for improvements from 2002 through 2007. The master plan is a working document, and not a definitive roadmap for where specific trails will be located.
